Introduction

Webcraft, s.r.o. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This policy describes how the Time Calculator iOS application ("the App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad.

The App is a personal work-hours and timesheet tool. We built it with privacy-by-default principles: the jobs, time entries, hourly rates, and notes you create stay on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We do not operate any backend server that collects, stores, or has access to your timesheet data. The only off-device processing is the purchase information required to sell in-app subscriptions, which is handled directly by Apple.

Information We Do NOT Collect

To be unambiguous, the App does not collect, transmit, or store on any server operated by us:

Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials
Your jobs, hourly rates, time entries, breaks, pay calculations, or notes
Your contacts, calendar, photos, location, or health data
Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any cross-app tracking identifiers
Any data that could directly identify you personally

We do not operate user accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.

Information Stored on Your Device and in Your iCloud

All data you create in the App — jobs, hourly rates, time entries, breaks, and notes — is stored on your device using Apple's local data frameworks (SwiftData).

If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud enabled for the App, this data is also synchronized to your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) so it stays in sync across your own Apple devices. This data:

Is stored in your personal iCloud account, which is controlled by Apple and accessible only to you
Is never accessible to us — we cannot read, export, or recover the contents of your private iCloud database
Is transmitted between your devices and Apple's iCloud over encrypted connections managed by iOS
Is removed from your device when you uninstall the App; iCloud copies are managed by you through Apple's iCloud settings

Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and iCloud Terms.

Notifications (Optional)

If you enable log reminders, the App requests permission to send local notifications to remind you to fill in your hours. All reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device by iOS. We do not operate push-notification servers and we cannot see when or whether you receive a notification. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Notifications → Time Calculator.

Exporting Your Data

The App lets you export your timesheets as CSV, Excel, or PDF files. Exports are generated on your device and shared only through the standard iOS share sheet to a destination you choose (e.g., Mail, Files, Messages). We do not receive, intercept, or store exported files.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Premium") that are sold and processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID, using Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not use any third-party subscription or analytics provider.

Your Apple ID, name, email, and payment details are handled by Apple and are never shared with or seen by us.
We receive only aggregated, anonymized sales and subscription reports from Apple via App Store Connect (e.g., total number of subscribers, total sales by country). These reports do not identify individual users.

Apple's processing of your purchase is governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Aside from Apple's platform services (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud/CloudKit, local notifications), the App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 4 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because we collect no personal data, the App is suitable for users of all ages, subject to parental discretion.

Data Security

Your timesheet data never reaches any server operated by us. Data stored locally on your device is protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms, including device encryption when you have a passcode set. Data synchronized to your private iCloud database is protected and transmitted using Apple's encrypted infrastructure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we rely on Apple's platform safeguards and collect nothing ourselves.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data directly within the App and through iOS system settings:

Edit or delete individual jobs and time entries: within the App
Delete all local data: uninstall the App from your device
Manage iCloud data: use Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your device
Revoke notification permission: use Settings → Notifications → Time Calculator
Manage or cancel subscriptions: use Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device

Because we hold no personal data about you on our own systems, there is no account data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf.

GDPR and CCPA Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and California: we do not collect, process, or store personal data on our own infrastructure, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA. Your timesheet data resides on your device and in your own iCloud account; Apple acts as the provider of the iCloud and payment services you use. Where any limited processing occurs, the legal basis under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is the performance of our contract with you (providing the App and the purchases you make).

International Data Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data internationally because we do not collect it. Any storage or transfer of your iCloud data and any processing of your payment are performed by Apple in accordance with Apple's own policies and safeguards.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through an App update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
