Webcraft, s.r.o. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This policy describes how the Instagram Fonts iOS application ("the App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad.
The App converts text you type into styled Unicode characters and lets you browse kaomoji, decorations, and templates. We built it with privacy-by-default principles: everything happens on your device. The App has no network access, no backend server, no user accounts, and no analytics. We never see the text you type, and we have no technical means to do so.
To be unambiguous, the App does not collect, transmit, or store on any server operated by us or by anyone else:
The App contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no attribution or marketing SDK. It makes no outbound network requests of any kind and works fully with no internet connection.
We do not operate user accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
The App stores the following locally on your device, using Apple's SwiftData framework and standard iOS preference storage:
This data never leaves your device. iCloud synchronization is not enabled in the App, so the App itself copies nothing to iCloud or to any other service. Local data is protected by the device encryption that iOS applies when your device is locked with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, iOS may include the App's local data in your encrypted device backup. That backup is controlled by Apple and by you, under Apple's own privacy policy — we have no access to it.
Deleting the App removes all of this data permanently. Because nothing is synced to or held by us, deleted data cannot be recovered by us. You are solely responsible for backing up your device.
When you tap a copy button, the App writes the selected styled text to the iOS system clipboard so that you can paste it into another app. This is a one-way write performed at your explicit request.
The App does not read your clipboard, does not monitor it in the background, and does not transmit clipboard contents anywhere. Once text is on the clipboard, its handling is governed by iOS and by whichever app you paste it into.
The App requests no iOS permissions. It does not ask for access to the camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, calendar, location, notifications, Bluetooth, the local network, or App Tracking Transparency. There is nothing to grant, and therefore nothing to revoke.
The App uses the Taptic Engine to give short haptic feedback when you copy text. This is a hardware output only and involves no data collection.
The App is completely free. It contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no paid tiers. No payment information of any kind is requested, processed, or received by us, and the App integrates neither StoreKit nor any third-party purchase, paywall, or billing service.
The App uses no third-party services, SDKs, or data processors. It relies only on frameworks built into iOS by Apple (SwiftUI, SwiftData, UIKit), all of which run locally on your device.
Apple may collect aggregate, anonymized information about App Store downloads under Apple's own privacy policy. That process is entirely outside our control and gives us no access to information about individual users.
Pasting styled text into another application — a social network, messenger, notes app, or anything else — means that application receives the text under its own privacy policy and terms. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, how a destination app handles what you paste into it. Please review the privacy policies of the apps you use.
The App is suitable for general audiences and knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects nothing at all, there is no children's data for us to hold, disclose, or delete.
Since no data is transmitted off your device or stored by us, the primary protection is the device itself:
We encourage you to keep iOS up to date and to protect your device with a passcode and biometric lock. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data held on your device.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or erase on request. You retain full control at all times:
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, Webcraft, s.r.o. would be the data controller for any personal data processed through the App. In practice, we process no personal data whatsoever through the App: it has no network access and transmits nothing.
Any processing that does occur happens exclusively locally on your device and under your sole control, which is not processing carried out by us.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA:
Because we hold no personal information, requests to know, delete, correct, or opt out have nothing to act upon, but you are welcome to contact us with any question.
The App transfers no data internationally, because it transfers no data at all. Any transfer connected with downloading or updating the App from the App Store is performed by Apple under Apple's own safeguards and privacy policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or in applicable law. The revised version will be published at this address with an updated Last Updated date. Material changes will additionally be noted in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
