Webcraft, s.r.o. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This policy describes how the Countdown Timer App & Widget iOS application ("the App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone, iPad, or as a Home Screen widget.
We have designed the App with privacy-by-default principles: your countdowns, contacts, and calendar data stay on your device. We do not operate backend servers that collect, store, or synchronize your personal events. The only personal data processed off-device is the limited, pseudonymous purchase information required to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, which is handled by our payment processor RevenueCat as described below.
To be unambiguous, the App does not collect, transmit, or store on any remote server:

We do not operate user accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
All countdown events you create or import are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage frameworks. This data:
If you choose to import birthdays, the App will request permission to access your Contacts. This access is used solely to read birthday fields and create local countdown entries on your device. We do not transmit, copy, or retain your contact data outside the App. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts.
If you choose to import events, the App will request permission to access your Calendar. This access is used solely to read event dates and create local countdown entries on your device. We do not transmit, copy, or retain your calendar data outside the App. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you about upcoming countdowns. All notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device by iOS. We do not use push notification servers and we do not see when or whether you receive notifications.
The App provides Home Screen widgets that display your countdown data. Widget content is rendered locally from data already stored on your device. No widget data is transmitted off your device.
The App offers in-app purchases and/or subscriptions. To process and manage these purchases, validate receipts, restore purchases across your devices, and prevent fraud, we use RevenueCat, Inc. ("RevenueCat"), a third-party subscription management platform.
When you make or restore a purchase, the following limited information is shared with RevenueCat:

RevenueCat acts as our data processor under the GDPR. We do not share your countdowns, contacts, calendar events, or any other personal data with RevenueCat. Your actual Apple ID, name, email address, and payment details are handled by Apple directly and are never seen by us or by RevenueCat.

Apple's handling of your payment is governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's privacy policy.
Aside from RevenueCat (described above, used exclusively for purchase processing) and Apple's App Store and platform services, the App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 4 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because we collect nothing, the App is safe for users of all ages with parental discretion.
Your countdowns, contacts, and calendar imports never leave your device. The limited purchase data shared with RevenueCat is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on RevenueCat's secured infrastructure. Data stored locally on your device is protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms, including device encryption when you have a passcode set.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and California: with respect to the limited purchase data processed via RevenueCat, Webcraft, s.r.o. acts as the data controller and RevenueCat, Inc. acts as our data processor. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — specifically, providing you with the in-app purchases and subscriptions you have bought.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data associated with your pseudonymous RevenueCat user ID. Because we do not link this ID to your name or email, we may need additional information from you (such as a transaction receipt) to locate the relevant records. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Material changes will be communicated through an App update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
